The road to the cross takes center stage in Season 6 of The Chosen, as the acclaimed biblical drama approaches the most consequential hours of Jesus Christ’s earthly life. The official trailer offers a glimpse into a deeply emotional chapter of the series, exploring the events leading to His crucifixion and the choices that changed the course of history.
Unlike previous seasons that followed different stages of Jesus’ ministry, this season focuses on His final day, presenting events through the perspectives of those who loved Him and those who condemned Him. As religious leaders pursue what they believe to be justice and Roman authorities seek to maintain order, Jesus remains resolute in the mission that leads to the cross.
The returning cast includes Jonathan Roumie as Jesus, alongside Shahar Isaac, Paras Patel, Elizabeth Tabish, and other familiar faces. Their performances continue to bring the biblical narrative to life through the experiences, struggles, and relationships of those closest to Jesus.
Season 6 is set to premiere on Prime Video on November 15, 2026, with three episodes launching initially and subsequent episodes arriving weekly through December 6. The season’s conclusion will continue into a standalone theatrical release planned for March 2027.
As the story approaches the cross, The Chosen invites viewers to reflect on the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, the cost of obedience, and the depth of God’s love for humanity. The trailer sets the stage for a defining chapter in the series, bringing the story of Christ’s final hours into focus.
